[using ladies loosely.]i've noticed let me word this right my weight challeged friends are not so cool with me around their guys even though i've never given them a reason to worry.they are much more confey with ladies their own size.anyone else notice this?

all my friends no matter their size or mine.. dont like me being around their men.. not sure why.. i'd never do anything to hurt a friend for any reason.. guess its the guy they dont trust

my friend is like that but she thinks shes better and can get more guys then me the difference is she weights alittle more than i do and is not very pretty (not saying my friend is ugly)so to me its very common

I am what it seems you are calling "weight challenged." I KNOW there is a reason that my man (when I have one) is with me, not what society might consider my "prettier" friends.

Anyone who doesn't know something similar is lacking in confidence, perhaps from being perpetually put down about a trait.

Really, this is NOT your fault, and it isn't your girlfriends' fault, either. Hubbies need to step up and say "I am attracted to my wife."

i really get little offended by this .i have no interest in my friends guys it would be nice if she could trust a friendship of over 20 yrs

I haven't noticed this, but it's definetly an insecurity issue they have.

i'll add that i'm working on my own weight loss i'm not perfect i have another friend that noticed this as well.its like we got dissed for no good reason

Not all affairs are with glamorous strangers from the internet, I'm saying. But again, IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT (and I am not sure how I can offend you by stressing this, really). It is the guys who need to step up here. They either need to tell their wives, "I love you and I think you're sexy," or they need to leave.

The next time they approached me to talk about their wives' insecurities, as a friend, I would point them in the direction of expressing their attraction and building up their wife's confidence.
