I AM SORRY TO TELL YOU ALL THAT COMMENTED NEGATIVE ABOUT OUR SOLDIERS I AM SORRY YOU ALL FEEL THAT WAY! I RESPECT THEM FOR DOING WHAT MUST BE DONE SO WE CAN HAVE OUR FREEDOM, AND WEAR A RED SHIRT ON RED SHIRT FRIDAY BECAUSE THEY SHED BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS OVER THERE FOR US! SO GIVE THEM A BRAKE IF YOUR UPSET AT THE GOVERNMENT THEN FINE SO AM I! BUT THERES NOTHING RUTHLESS ABOUT WHAT WE ARE DOING OVER THERE, MAYBE I SHOULD SAY THIS HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE DICTATED AND KILLED AND RAPPED LIKE THOSE INDIVDUALS ARE OVER THERE IT ALMOST HAPPENED ON 9-11! IF YOU DON'T LOVE OUR COUNTRY MOVE OVER THERE AND SEE HOW YOU LIKE THERE CLASS OF LIVING, BUT LEAVE ARE SOLDIERS ALONE! UNTIL YOU KNOW HOW HARD THERE JOB IS TO LEAVE THERE FAMILY, THERE CHILDREN,FOR OVER A YEAR AND REALLY CAN'T LIVE IN A SOCIAL CLASS OVER THERE, AND HAVE TO KILL SOMEONE BEFORE THEY KILL YOU THEN DON'T COMMENT! I LOST A FIANCEE TO THIS WAR,DOING A JOB FOR HIS COUNTRY THE PEOPLE HE CARES ABOUT, HIS FREEDOM, HE WORE HIS FLAG WITH HONOR SO WE COULD BE FREE AND HAVE THE LUXRIES OF LIVING IN THE COUNTRY OF FREEDOM! SO DON'T SAY THAT THEY THERE TOOLS OF A CORRUPT GOVERNMENT THERE NOT THEYRE HUMAN BEINGS WORKING HARD OVER THERE IN THE SAND FOR YOUR FREEDOM! VERY WELL PUT, ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS IS OVER THERE AND I WORRY ABOUT ALL OF THEM EACH AND EVERYDAY!!!! GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM....IF YOU CANT SAY ANYTHING POSITIVE DONT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL, I DONT SEE YOU OVER THERE DOING YOUR CIVIC DUTY!!!! MY NEPHEW LEAVES IN A FEW WEEKS TO GO OVER THERE AND FIGHT FOR US AND THOSE PEOPLE, WHEN DO THE TWO OF YOU LEAVE TO GO AND FIGHT AND STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT??? |

Nah, I commend you for _trying_ to do that.. but when your orders come from a corrupt institution, you're not fighting FOR freedom.. you're a tool of opression. You want to fight for freedom? Go back to your home and look at how protesters are being treated in your country. Look how your 'freedom of speech' is so safe thanks to your efforts. Amen

No really, this freedom bull**** has to stop, you fight because you signed up to be a soldier, that is fine, but has niothing to do with no one's freedom, unless you are defending YOUR country from an invading army and that never happened in USA. I don't mean to disrespect you or other enlisted, but let's get things straight, no war was fought for "freedom" I'm quoting this again because its an excellent point. Anyone care to discuss? |

I SERVED W/ THE U.S. ARMY IN CENTRAL AMERICA. MOST AMERICAN ARE SPOILED THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IT FEELS LIKE 2 HAVE SOMEONE TRYING TO KILL YOU. IT'S OUR DUTIES AS HUMAN BEINGS TO HELP OTHERS OUT WHEN THEY CAN'T FIGHT 4 THEMSELVES, I FEEL THAT EVERY AMERICAN SHOULD ALEAST AND I DO ME AT THE LEAST SHOULD SERVE TIME IN THE MILITARY, THAN THEY WILL SEE ARE RIGHTS AREN'T FREE.
