When someone says "good bye" but then continues ot contact you, why do they say "good bye" in the first place?
It's like good bye threads for people who either come back in a week, or never de-activate. if you do't know who you are, dont make grand stand statements, that you can't stand behind I say. When you come down to it, all you have is your words. |

there is someone I should have said goodbye to years ago..every time I did say it, I could never stop from contacting him.
I said it again yesterday and so far I am holding firm..after 7 years I am finally, finally done. I think. I hope. |

I suppose it is more of a feeling sometimes than an action.

I have been guilty of that...I argued with someone and told them it would be better if we stopped talking. Later, I learned a few things about what's what and had to apologize, but the damage was done and I lost a friend for it.
