I read a saying in a book and it stayed with me

"Where you are walking is where you are;
Where you have walked is who you are."

I believe that.

I am absolutely. I think most if not all of us are the sum of all things we have experienced and seen in life, both the good and the bad.

you are forgetting the genes.
we are also the genetic information we receive from our parents.
the difference is that we can't choose the genes, but we can choose the people with whom we interact and the experiences we experience, at least as soon as we are old enough to make choices.

True. I believe that you take a little piece of everyone,whether a manurism, a saying, or whatever and carry it with you throughout life. and the experiences, also called the school of hard knocks, needs no explanation.
