I personally have my eye on someone here on this site but in my quest to find that special someone I noticed that most of the women that I talked to were out of state. I even had one lady much older than me offer to buy me tickets and fly out to see her. huh
So I guess my question is do you think long distance relationships are worth it? You'd really have to trust each other.
What do you think??

That's true. We have so many ways of communicating with each other it's crazy but that still doesn't replace the "trust issue"?

If you have the money to pull it off, why not try. With the cost of gas right now, it's not even on my list of things to do.

This is the only sight i've seen where everyone is so far away.I guess this sights for just friends or truly for people that have trust, honesty and love for that one and only! All depends what your looking for.I think this sight is also safty for those who wont to cop out.No offence intended.

Again and again my theory that the niceness of people on this site is inversely proportional to the distance they are away from where you are. I have a psychologist friend I am seeing this afternoon and yes I may be in need of certification but I am not seeing him in professional capacity I will ask about this theory and will keep you all posted.

I had one fall apart. It wasn't very much fun. The big problem was the lack of touch. Experts say that is one of three things that must be present in a successful relationship.

We had excellent communication but she went silent all of a sudden. No explanations just silence. It's very easy to say goodbye to someone in a long distance relationship.

Go slow. Be guarded. Try to meet when you feel there is a love connection as soon as possible. It's a tricky dance but many have mastered it.

"lack of touch" Ooooooooooh I agree with ya...that is probbaly the biggest obstacle and why I don't go for long distance relationships.

You all have some good advice! I could learn a lot from you all. I'm interested in someone locally here but have always wondered what you all thought on the LDR! Like Wolfchic said, everyone seems so far away but I guess if you're really looking you'll find that special someone.
