does anyone on JSH use almonds?? almonds are very healthy?? To everyones health on JSH??

Never been cooking with them, but yeah almonds are good plain.

ty...i keep a bag of unpeeled, unsalted ones on my desk at work...haven't really cooked w/them i don't think...omg i love jordan almonds...not very healthy though

I'v cooked with them. They are goo cooked with rice.

Almonds go well with grains (rice, quinoa, wheat berries, etc.) and veggies. My favorite is steamed string beans with almond slices and fried shallots on top.

recently i put slivered almonds in my bannana bread instead of walnuts.... i feared they would become soggy but they didnt it was good! but still walnuts rock in bananna bread!
