The Iraqi military opened fire on an Iranian Embassy convoy while it was in route to a shiite holy shrine wounding 4!!
The Iranians are blaming the US saying it is the responsibility of the occupying force to ensure the safety of foreign diplomats. What are the Iraqis doing? Is this an accident or done on purpose to provoke further division among us and the Iranians? Oh gosh, that's a whole diplomatic nightmare. Who knows if it was intentional or not. But we do know that whatever the intention we're in for more backlash.

as far as the iranians saying the united states is responsible as the occupying force
that is a load of crap as well -- unless they asked for a milatary escort and it was denied --------------- are we being provided proof it was iraqi military maybe it was iranians dressed as iraqi military after all they are known for attacking embassy personnel themselves |
