Myself if I could afford it,I would pay cause I would want no percieved obligation to stay if he turned out to be a dud.

He should pay for the ticket but you should take care of the expenses while hes there

I was going to do this with a Russian lady, only pay for her trip after she got here. Never heared from her again. But yeah I'd be willing as long as it was up and up.

If he is insisting you go up(or down or east or west) to see him badly... and he wants to pay... the sure... just maybe spring for a couple dinners and nights out... otherwise splitting it the best way to handle this situation. Who you trying to go see?!?

If he is a man he should pay, not a gender thing but common sense, if he wants to meet you then he should be willing to open his wallet.

I think many diffrent things could factor into that decision jmo

i use to date a lady fron indiana,,,,she would not let me pay for her plane tickett,but after she got here we ate out quiet a bit,,,,,lol fooooood

I think the guy should pay for the ticket, but he should also be smart not to just buy one after a few chats.
