I see a lot of griping in this forum, not naming names and we all know I've done my share. However that is besides the point, want to know how to change the world? It is easy, I've done it as I'm sure quite a few here have. It starts with a simple letter addressed to your local congressman, then it follows with getting like-minded people to do the same. Figure the equation like this: 1 of you, 50 friends equals 51 letters contributed by you, now we take your 50 friends and say they have 50 friends as well all for the same cause this comes to 50*50 which comes to 2,500 different letters from different people all going to the same one person. And the equation can go bigger if you take into account that those 2,500 people also have 50 friends with a like-minded view. So instead of thinking 'I have it bad' use that energy to spread the word.

I think there is a lot of complacency anymore because as individuals we can only do so much. We are inundated with so many issues and causes that the brain and body can only deal with so much, starts to turn off to so much. If it's important to an individual, one will pursue in the capacities which one can.

That is why you find like-minded individuals, there are a number of people for any given cause...we just need to get past the "start this organization, start that organization" and unite the idea for one complete statement which no one can turn their head too.
