....when you're havin a really good hair day, when every hair falls in place with such ease, you wonder why just the day before you were thinking of shaving your head.... You manage to break a record getting your make-up on without poking yourself in the eye with the mascara or dragging it across your nose...and when you're all done ya think...dang...I'm hot!??
 
Yeah.....sure wish I was havin' one of those  The humidity here makes my hair frizz and go off in whatever direction it wants, which happens to be the exact opposite of what I want it to do. So now, 20 different hair care products later and 45 minutes on my make-up, my hair looks like I stood on my head all night and my make-up looks like a 6-year-old applied it!!

That's why I generally no longer bother with either anymore. Too much work for little payoff. I use my kid's hair straightener if I want to look a little more polished, but rarely bother with makeup. Very frustrating, especially in the summer in Dallas.

I lived in Maine for a few years. No humidity...I miss it!!

I don't do the make up thing but hear you loud and clear on the hair. Every time I'm in Arizona I want to stay there for the fact that there's no such thing as a bad hair day for me there. HA
Then again when I'm in Virgina or Florida, my beach head look is the order of the day anyway and I don't even have to pretend to fuss with it.
