To be an honest individual so I know if I want him to be a partner. Must have values, class, sense of humor, motivations, positive thinker, doer, expressive of his love toward me in simple ways and courtesies, and it'd be nice if he were sympatico in the physical sense.

I'm so tired to liars... Men, (sorry) maybe women do it too, but lie like crazy to impress you... they pretend to be gentleman.. ginving, kind, trustworthy.... I've dated men that are down right "unattactive" to see if they can be real... they seem to be the only ones who are.... As a "considered by men" a very attractive woman, why can't attractive men just get over themselves... and be REAL....... if there are really any out there.... plse write me.... Friends 1st is most important.... right up there with honesty........... realness....

I used to have this list of things that I wanted to see in a woman, but as I've gotten older that list has dwindled down. I want her to be someone with a sense of humor, it's a must if you ever want to be able to handle being around me. It'd be nice if she had her own career/job, but I guess that's not necessary.

She has to like football (American) or at least be able to handle being a football widow.

Someone that enjoys things. I want to be with someone that enjoys eating, not worried about calories or carbs. I want someone that will not be afraid to say "let's try some of those cigars," or "how about tonight we try to do what's on page 67 of the kama sutra."

I want someone who will make me do things I wouldn't normal do. The symphany comes to mind, I enjoy classical music, but never actually go. Dancing, I used to be descent at swing, but haven't had a partner in years. Visit relatives, I'm old enough that I feel embarressed by the fact that when I show up at a reunion, I'm the only one my age without a "family."

Someone that would rather see an older movie while curled up on the couch with me than go to a theatre to see the new releases.

Someone that is willing to put their trust in you fully. When I leave and say "I'll be back around 10:00" that should be good enough, no questions about where I'm going or who I'm seeing. At best I should hear "could you bring me a _____ on your way home." That's how my grandparents were, and both sets were married over 50 years. If you don't have that kind of trust, you're just wasting time anyway.

I'm sure there are other things I'd like to see out of a partner, but there's a nice lengthy response for you
