I have to go to court on monday to finalize my divorce. I am not ready to do that. Any advice would be appreciated.

just do it...the sh*tty part is having to look at your ex...just be polite...then enjoy the next phase of your life

I will be going through one as well. Looking forward to it again..lol..HOWEVER, I dont have to face my ex in court. He is somewhere in another state where I dont have to deal with him.

You can never be fully ready for it, you just have to go in with as positive of mental and emotional attitudes as you can muster. Good luck my friend.

I am so ready to go to court with mine, but nothing is moving. Good luck to you The only real advice I can give maybe is try half a xanax? Divorce sucks.....

I've been divorced 16 years now and I can tell you it was very stressful. My ex has been remarried 3 times now and divorced 3 times since then. I have been gun shy for a while for fear of getting into another failed marriage. But I've gotten over my fears now and am looking forward to getting remarried someday.
