Or do you think it was way overdue.

Do you see the person working at the store?
Or do you simply just ignore.
Do you see the kids at play?
Or do you just turn and go the other way.

Do you see a friend in need?
Or do you turn and leave with speed.
Do you see how others really look at you?
It is so sad but oh so true.

For you did not take the time to really look.
You were always a closed book.
Open your eyes and really see.

I agree awsum poem txs,, reminds me of the old axiom( is that the
word),,when going one place to another how much of You is where Your
leaving , how much where You going, and how much is really there
traveling..

Thank you all for reading you know it is amazing tho how many times we
might go to the same store for gas or a soda or cleaners and never
really look at the person we are talking to and we see them every week.
I'm just as guilty of this as anyone else is these are some of these
things that I myself am trying to change to at least give them a thought
an a kind word. Say hello to the one you pass while walking or at least
a smile you will get one back!!

Truely give you something to think about.Just recently moved into a new
neighborhood. Makes want to make sure I look around and not just say hi,
but notice the mane tag so I can start calling people by name. Great
