It took me a little while to name my cats after I got them. They ended up with Maverick and Poe (who was going to be Goose, but the name just didn't seem to fit him).

I named one of mine on personality. Puck. Not hockey, but Shakespeare. Big mistake. Totally has the personality. Someone told me that cats can take on aspects of a name given them. I've been told to name him different if I want him to behave better. But I named him after watching him for a while. I just think that is his own stubborn, mischievious, troublemaking, personality. My internal, mental, speller seems to broken today. I can't seem to get it to work right.

Named two of mine .... Miss Kitty and Dillon (you know...Gunsmoke)...cept Miss Kitty turned out to be male...and somehow Mr. Kitty didn't just have the same ring to it. He became Festus.

Don't know if I can come up with one. My cats are named: Little Bit O'Velcro (he's orange and Irish) Oscar My Erweiner (He's black and British and an ex-feral weenie) Winifred DePeu (Grey striped and French, goes by Winnie) I don't think I could remember more than two syllables. You are very creative!
