LMAO...thought this was about truth...the real Truth is Iraq invaded Kuwait and threatened Saudi Arabia...we started this "preemptive" war to free the people of Kuwait and protect Saudi Arabia from invasion. After dispeling Iraqi forces from Kuwait a CEASE-FIRE was called on conditions set forth by the UN. Some of these conditions were a no-fly zone, an Oil for food program and complete and unfettered access to weapons program amoung other conditions. Iraqs failure to meet ANY one of these conditions would cause an end to the CEASE FIRE and for 12 years he fired on coalition forces, stalled and impeded inspections and of course bribed and concealed lucritive payments to Un officials in the oil for food program as he spent millions on palaces while the people starved. The war in Iraq is one and the same as the "first" gulf war no matter how you try to revise and subjugate history. That is the Whole Truth about the war and where we are today. The unfortunate scandal on the oil for food program and its effect on what UN officials deemed flagrant violations to the cease fire is what caused such a travesty in UN dision making that they are now seen as incompetant and unable to organize any real motivation for any of the global conflicts that now encompass our planet.

Then why did Bush need an "authorization for war" from Congress? Yeah, the one that was passed due to the questionable intel on WMD, ect... Yeah, the one HRC lost the Democratic nomination over. It's nonsense to describe the current mess as part 2 of the original liberation of Kuwait.

How much did the administration spend on two wars while many Americans need help in health , education ....etc?. U.S.A is not the police of the world and in Katrina , the people were dying in the streets and the looting ...etc . Add to that the huge national deficit and the huge national debt ...... .

its not nonsense..its fact! no matter how the left media wants to report it...go back and read the UN mandates ..the reason Bush had to "authorize" force was to prove Iraq did not comply with UN resolutions. Without the cease-fire and all the UN mandates for the cease-fire ..Bush would never have been able to "go to war" even if Iraq had WMD! This was to authorize force in COMPLIANCE to UN resolutions...which were mandated as a cease fire agreement...in so doing it is directly related to and the same as the "first" war!

This War has encompassed 3 administrations ..Clinton included..not just this president...As for your case about Katrina...I chaulk that up to a very liberal, corrupt democratic state....look at Iowa, Ill and the states that are devestated much more sever then New Orleans ever was...and you don't see people looting, killing or screaming for government assistance!!! The difference between people that get use to government hand outs and people who work hard for themselves!!!
