Was there an update that I was not told about? I am usually notified by FF if there is an update. But about ever 20 minutes or so my FF will stop responding for about 10 seconds, and then will be fine. But it is annoying BIG time.

Firefox 3 was released today... it's a whole new version... Big press release the whole nine yards.. I think the new version is supposed to to have addressed those issues..

I tried the beta version of FF3 and did not like it at all. Hope they got the bugs out. I will try it. Wonder why it did not notify me like it usually does.

If you have IE, uninstall everything relating to Fire fox and then try and redownload it and that might fix your problem.

I am guessing you have a windows pc, so just go to search and search for all files and folders and put in fire fox and then deleted them all after uninstalling it from control panel, hopefully that helps and works for you.

I do not like the new firefox either.

I found that Google has firefox 2.0 download with thier google toolbar.

Now this toolbar will not show up in add and remove like it usually does.

So i just unchecked it.

I found downloading it fine but installing it was a problem.

When I removed firefox 3 and then downloaded it.
np installed fine and all bookmarks and everything was thier.

Hope this helps...Miles
