She grew up in a one bedroom home with her parents and brother on the South-side of Chicago!!! Very humble beginnings indeed!  Sounds like alot of people I know  God bless America! Its been a long time since I've felt like saying that! You should read that story Mirror! I grew up on a 35 acre farm and house only had 2 bedrooms and we had water from an underground spring, and my mother had no dryer, she had to hang clothes on a clothesline outside in summer, in basement in winter. She baked our bread, no storebought bread, made my clothes. Do I come from humbleness? Not even close Lindy! A- 35 acres is doing pretty good! B- Like me you are White C- I remember black and white tv, no washing machine or dryer too. Few in those days had them! D- The same thing with the bread and clothes! Although we did buy 4 outfits a year, we had to travel 40 miles to get them and only got new ones once a year! For the times Id say you had a pretty normal and very good life! That farm, Fanta, supported 3 families during the depression when no one in my family had a job! My grandfather, who came from Sweden, worked his behind off to pay for that farm, it did not come free like socialism would have it be done!  We Swedes work our behinds off to get to where we were/are! That farm meant a lot of hard physical work! When was the last time this obama woman cleaned her own house? Made her own clothes? Walked MILES to work? Washed her own dishes? Made her own bread? Cut her children's hair cause she could not afford a hairdresser? When did she did till the soil and plant a garden and canned the vegetables for food for her family? When did she paint her kitchen herself? When did she make her own drapes for her house? When did she walk 5 miles to get to church because there was no car to get there? Fanta, these are things my family and I, myself, have done! This obama woman, again, 'ain't all that' NOW, Senator McCain went through five (5) years of being TORTURED as a POW. Look where he is today, talk about strength and perserverance! THAT is something to be commended! When I first started out as a legal secretary, I worked for a black woman attorney who is now a Workers' Compensation Judge, and I am very proud of the fact that I stood behind her as her secretary and helped her in her career to get to where she is today. She outdoes this obama woman a hundred times over. She had to fight racism, sexual prejudice, so what is so special about this obama woman? Nothing OH, and she is black, I did mention that above, didn't I? Lindyy  |

My 73 year old mother got addicted to pain killers prescribed for her fibromyalgia. Are you saying MY MOTHER is not a good person and did not care?
