If I owed money the IRS I would assume the would take the refund. I don't believe this stunt is going to stimulate the economy anyway. Most people are using it to pay off debt. That was my plan until I saw the way to turn my 600.00 into 940.00 with the IRA deductions.
I suspect thier are other reasons for this program. I think one may be to draw out people who have not been filing. |

The poor??" Sometimes. I once owed 1500.00 due to my employers dishonesty & I had to sell my truck to pay it. I was reporting my tips to my employer as required & they were not reporting them to the IRS. I not only had to pay the taxes, but the FICA & enemployment also. So the trick worked, my employer was never bothered about it. |

He screwed the economy with his foreign policies and has not idea how to correct it. He damn sure isnt going to admit that his policies have anything to do with it. |

Seems certain people forget that NANCY PELOSI, democrat, was behind this stimulus plan 100%, only she and the democrats wanted people to get more money.
Oh, and how UNGRATEFUL people are for what they get. Dear God have mercy on this Nation! Basically what the stimulus plan is, is a TAX REBATE you uneducated individuals. You got back TAXES that you paid! HELLO! President Bush and the Congress owe you ungrateful citizens NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! If you ran up bills - tough, that is your fault. Try budgeting your money better. And, if you owe taxes, child support, etc. Tough! Learn to be a better citizen and parent. The poor hardly owe back taxes, if you check and look at the tax brackets, the poor get MOST if not ALL of their tax money back when they file their Federal Income Tax Returns. FANTA, I address you directly. Read above about Pelosi. AGAIN, the stimulus checks are TAX REBATES/REFUNDS. YOU GOT SOME OF YOUR TAX MONEY BACK!!! Can you all comprehend this???? The way I see things , the economy is already screwed up as many goods and services are getting higher and higher while big corporations are making huge and record profits .
The consumer is the victim one way or another .  .
