I've been cheated on. I couldn't and wouldn't ever forgive that. If
you're in any kind of relationship and you want to stray, No matter how
hard it is, Tell the other person that it's over. Don't betray them and
expect to use them while you get your kicks.

Some things are unforgivable.

I think the only thing that is unforgivable is cheating! I believe that
you can work anything out in a marriage but when someone strays~~~forget
it!!
What I don't understand is if you are interested in someone else why
can't you be the bigger person and just get out of the marriage and save
the other person all the heartache? I just hope the mates that cheat get
their payback someday!!

Hey Unsure,
Karma is real They will get payback. Think of it, If a relationship
begins with deception, There is no basis for trust. If you get together
with someone through cheating, You know they're capable of it already.
Every time they're 15 minutes late, You'll wonder.

Glenn~~this is what I don't understand, why would someone ever trust a
person that they cheated with? UMMM hello..you cheated with them to get
together?? Theres your sign now go live your life in nothing but doubt!!
One thing I can say, I have never cheated on someone because I know how
that feels. I honored my vows so I know that I am a trustworthy person

Agree with you all except Red on this one. If they cheated once, will
do it again.

And, Unsure, another thing that is unforgiveable other than cheating, is
hitting. Most other things can be forgiven but these two in my book.

Take care.

Never say Never. Gwen & I had some rocky yrs, we were trying to hard to
be find our gold mine & let that screw up everything. SHe had a fling
w/a lady & I went out on her. We got help because bottom line was we
still loved each other. She is my SOULMATE still. We had just put it
back together, took a 2 week vacation, fall 95 & she was diagnosed March
96. Died in my arms, MAy 2,97. I am elated that we got help & learned
to talk again.

So take each case on it's on merit & look for the real reason, before
you close a door that you might not want to close. Going out w/someone
else might be a symptom not the diease.

Good point, Sage - each case is different, I am glad you worked it out
and got to find the happiness you did, and am so sorry for your loss.

Hey Sage,
I'm glad it worked for you and I'm sorry for your loss. That said, I'm
from a different school. I believe that if you're at that point, You
should tell your mate and try to work it out or be done with it.

Yeah what works for one don't always work for someone else my ex had his
fling so I flung him out and would do it all over again. That is one
game I don't play. Besides I never learned to share and that is one
thing I refuse to share. bigsmile

Sage glad it worked out for you and ya could rekindle the love you

I just don't think I could work it out...even if he would have came to
me and admitted that he cheated~~I would have tossed him out on his
happy little butt:smile:
I think life is way to short to have to spend it with someone that you
don't trust, but of course thats my opinion. I just say, don't look back
keep looking forward flowerforyou
