I was shopping for a headset and finally located where they were in the store. As I am walking up to the rack this woman steps in front of me. It was like we were at the first day of a X-mas sale or something. Not only did she reach the display before me. She used her large fat belly to block my looking at any of the other models they had in stock. I crossed to the other side, maneuvering around her rather large ass, except the look was no better. After waiting for about 3 minutes I smiled and walked off leaving her to look at the few remaining models they had in stock.

No, because I have a large fat belly and a large fat ass and I wouldn't like to have you call me that........I have had that happen to me with skinny women when three of them need to look at something because one can't make up her mind, but I won't call the b!tches because of it.

This was one woman who did this and she knew what she was doing. She hid some of the items by moving forward into them. It was an unnatural stance that looked uncomfortable. I have never seen anyone do this type of thing before in my life. Oh and she smiled as she looked out to the side with her peripheral vision at me. I have no doubt she uses her large body mass to do this on a regular basis.

Is saying someone is skinny also a cut down? Or is it a descriptor? If I say directly to you, "You fat so and so." That's not nice. Saying someone is fat as a descriptor is not the same thing.

There u go judgin a book by it's cover. U should wear one of those "fat" suits for a day and see how people treat u then perhaps u'd be alil more understandin.
There are several reasons a person could be "fluffy" many of which can be out of there control. They're considered MEDICAL CONDITIONS.
Have a heart dude. I'm sure at some point in ur life someone made u feel like a pile of warm dog poo, that doesn't give u reason to do it to someone else.

I am sure she didn't do it intentionally, but if that happened to me and I got mad, I would just say "Excuse me". And if she started talking $#!T, then I would let her have all the gluttonous words in the English language. But then again, I am sure she would already know and they would bounce off her jelly like body and hit me, where I fall to the floor and feel stupid. So, I dunno... It's your call.

I was using skinny women to describe a situation just like you were using a fat woman.....a word to describe a person's shape. I have seen rude in all shapes and sizes, not just large people. Would have been better to say she was just rude.

She gave all people who are overweight a bad name. I would prefer to set her aside and not include her with others who suffer from being overweight.

BTW, to the previous poster....I was first called fat in the 6th grade. I eventually lost 55 pounds. Maybe you are doing some prejudging. She is perpetuating dislike for large people.

I know Tina and apparently I have my answer. I should not call her fat even as a descriptor to others.

I once spent about $30,000 to protect myself from a lawsuit over a phone call that was less than 5 minutes long. This thread isn't worth wasting 2 minutes on.

It seems like you have a victim perspective that was just been self fullfilling. You couldn't see what you wanted to buy for three whole minutes? Wow Dude chill. Life is too short to get so uptight about how another person looks or acts in a way that maybe only you being impatient would percieve as rude.

As I previously stated she used her large belly as a way to prevent me from shopping. It was the first time in my life I have ever seen someone intentionally doing this. Have you witnessed this type of behavior before?

My mum and 3 of my sisters are "very large ladies" but they do not "throw their weight around" to intimidate others, yes, maybe this woman was rude, but there are a host of skinny/thin women I know of who are obnoxious to the core.

I'm a Plus sized girl, and i wouldn't take Kindly to anyone calling me fat, or pointing out my "fat Ass/Fat Belly" I Happen to have a Thyroid problem which causes my wieght to fluctuate...

But i'm happy to say I've lost 25 pounds in a little under a Month and kept it off, And no matter what you say about my weight now, I'll still tell you I'm beautiful.

Always have been, Always will be.

Just because she's One woman who uses her weight to her advantage, doesn't mean that gives ou the right to call her fat.

Besides, Over 50% of the US's population is "Overweight" So wouldn't that make us Average?

*grin* sounds to me more like the large lady was attempting to flirt oh dreamy one, not to be annoying. And you better not be calling women fat and being rude even if provoked, it would tarnish your knightly armour. laugh

I asked if I could call her fat. I later said in my post:
"She used her large fat belly to block..." It was a descriptor of her. I NEVER called her fat as an insult.
