does anyone remember cinnimon toothpicks and the Kool Aid in a straw? Mu uncle owned a store on the hill and we would save our pennies to go buy cinnamon tooth picks and pixi sticks also sunflower seeds for just 5 cents and the best part gas was only 75 cents a gallon and a pack of smokes 75 cents too  |

I remember not having to work so hard or worry so much. Adulthood sucks; can I turn in my membership card? Yep, of course you can, then we can go fishing all day long using a bent dress maker's pin and sweet corn as bait

I remember exploring this big empty place with my cousins. Up the road from my granparents place. They lived in a small town, also remember picking crap apples, I use to LOVE those things, and the smell of there wood burning stove, stringing popcorn around the Christmas tree while my grandfather put up the real tree.
I miss my childhood!

Hulu Hoops Tag football Hide n seek Red Rover Red Rover Dodge Ball You could go in to the 5 & 10 (Motts) and come out with a handful of candy for a quarter. What I miss the most is when my brother and cousins all played baseball in the empty lot next door to where we lived. Granny gave us old pillows to use as bases. We mowed the grass to make the baseball diamond with the old push mower and I mean the one that you literlly pushed it no gas.  yeah those were the days!!

Ohh yeah King of the Hill OMG how many times I ended up rolling down the hill shssh. Or sitting under my Aunt & Uncles big ole Fig Tree as we ate the figs off of it. Thinking we were being smart the tree was so big you had to crawl under the branches to sit under it.  My brother & I really thought we were getting away with something sitting there hiding and eating. Shshhs all along my Uncle could see us from the closed in porch as he sat and laughed at us wondering how we did not get a belly ache. lmao
