This topic came up the other night.....very surprising when the "goody two shoes" tells you of their "jail time"

So have you?

What for?

Sounds like you need about 3 days in one of our a "Mississippi Cross-bar Hotels...."

It will surely give you a new perspective on life in general, and a passionate love for fried Bologna, grits and gravy, and prune juice, since that's what you get 3X a day....

I have been handcuffed for things, but never taken to jail or anything. Mainly because a fight broke out once between my friends and someone thought I had a gun for some reason. Then I was in a car with a drunk driver and he decided to bust out doughnuts in front of the cops in a 4 way BUSY stop and they thought we were all high on stuff. Took him, let us go.

Then as a kid, just drinking at parties, the cops took our information and let us DRIVE home. Not a big deal, it was casual.

I thought that I was the only throwed in jail for blowing off a seat belt ticket!

gotta admit, it IS funny when someone asks "What are you in for?"....the stunned look on thier face when you say "No seat belt"

happened twice when I was young and dumb.

Hahaha...I was 18 and heavily drunk walking home, was about half way home and saw a mailbox I felt like kicking...so I kicked, low and behold a cop was right across the street and all I hear is 'woop, woop' and the first thought 'Oh f***'. 30 days in jail and two court appearances later it was reduced to destruction of private property (previously destruction of federal property, minimum sentence was 5 years) got out on time served and had to pay a fine of about 1,000$ for public intoxication and underage consumption of liqour...ahhh good times.laugh laugh

No, but as part of my employment to work at a state residential facility for neglected and abused kids I had to be finger-printed at the local police station. I was so nervous, I was literally shaking in my boots. The whole process scared the wits outta me, even though I did nothing wrong and was there for purely legal reasons. The cells were right next to where they did the finger-printing and I kept thinking something is going to go horribly wrong and they are gonna lock me up in one of those!! I couldn't wait to get outta there! noway
