When you let go of your doubts you also let go of your limitations.

I love the serenity prayer (no I'm not in recovery, I just like it) ...

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.

It seems Thoreau had a profound effect on many..eeh?

As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.

Of course... The second part is even more meaningful than the first.

I have another one...

"This too shall pass" - this one may turn into a tattoo at some point.

Appreciation is a wonderful thing. It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.
