move on...the problem is...people only want what they cannot have...if you are really happy and want to marry this other man...do not contact the previous one....it will only lead you down a path of destruction...

good luck!!!

I agree with drjac, it takes a really strong relationship to endure that kind of thing once you have been intimate with someone. It may be his pride talking so go with the one who has your heart and make sure you give him all of it.

I agree with Giggles .. just let your former FWB know you aren't interested that way and you wish him well.

I also agree with JAC .. it's like a dog with a bone yanno?

Enjoy your love & be happy

Yeah just wait til the new beau finds out about this "old family friend" and your past with him.
Cut him loose.

Friends with benefits is a dumbass idea in the first place, regardless one or both parties get attached and the relationship fails. Don't do it folks!

Either way I'd say keep him as a friend, if he truly "loves" you he will be happy that you are happy...that is how you weed out the "I love you" BS.

Didn't say anything about you being a woman, anyone can catch feelings from sex...it is an emotional response to the physical action. Yes I have done it, and even then thought it was a dumbass idea.

Well i think it will work if all parties know their limits.............i dont think i complicated the relationship and we were done before i started with my new man so I think it just was something he had in the back of his head...........he actually had a girlfriend while I was dating my man and we were done awhile back......

I tend to agree with Kim on this...no need to kick him to the curb, a long talk is in order tho
