How do you go about picking what one to respond to, other then the ones some of us like to play with? and do you think it is a good idea to share Certain things on here or not?

We all joke around alot of the time, but there are the post that hit home and for me, some i can relate to. I never jump on a thread and try to give an opinion if i have never experience the situation and even then, i believe if your sharing your opinion, it should be only a suggestion. What ever anyone does with it Is up to them. I don't beleive pushing ones opinion on anyone and that alone can make any situation tourn in to a bad thing.

And for those that think this is just the net and don't believe bringing Certain things on the threads, i do agree, but then again, in some situations, it has helped a few people by sharing whats going on in there life so i don't think that is a bad thing.

I've learned, sometimes the hard way, that it is wise to keep most things off the threads. They are public forums and those that are malicious can use information to exploit.

That is why from this point forward I intend to stay to subjects that are broad and general or silly in nature.

Read, read, read...if you have something to offer...by all means, jump in...if you think your opinion will hurt someone...don't say it...and if you think a huge controversy is about to begin....RUN

Oh I've seen topics that I've said "I ain't touching that." I either don't want to get caught up in the wash, or am respectful enough to think "oh, this crew doesn't want to hear my opinion."

I don't worry about those with malicious intent. What am I going to run for President and have my forum rantings used against me? Besides, if someone stole my idenity, they'd bring it back, no one wants that boring of a life.

Those that are intentially cruel on the net, that stuff just rolls off my back. What do I care what a person halfway around the world thinks? Besides, I don't believe that my comments are read by anyone that hasn't seen me in a thread before anyway, and half the time, those people don't read them either.

I pick threads to post on based generally on who wrote them, absent that it would be the title. In answer to your other question, there are some things I will not share on a public board.

I play around like a few of us do, but i wont post my life on here. Why would i when i have a couple friends that i can share with if need be. On the other hand, if i see somthing i have been through, i don't mind sharing a little to see if what i have done in my past to grow from what ever it is, can help someone. Why not? isn't that kinda what were her for too?

Oh I agree with that completely. I try to do that on my widows/ers thread that we keep ongoing.
