aaaahhhh Fly.. I have had this happen to me as well... he told me I was just too good, too good to him.. it made him feel unworthy

I'll be honest... I just saw that as a beacon that I needed to help raise his self esteem.. and went forth on my crusade...

Fortunately, I did finally realize that in his case only HE could actually release himself from the demons that held him down... so, I encouraged him to seek help with someone trained in this area... raised my head high, felt sorrow for him and then continued to walk forward secure in knowing that to live & love fully as I am is just fine, even if it is not for everyone I encounter.

I have to admit that I have dated guys who were "too nice" before. I love nice and look for it, but there is a difference between nice and letting people step on you. I have trouble standing by and watching people not stand up for themselves. I'm not talking knock the lady down because she wasn't paying attention to who was next in line and moved in front of you...but just generally being pushed to the side at work or by their family and...yes even by me. I am not right all the time...don't tell me I am!
