I'm curious then......the people that have over 10,000 posts.....or even better than THAT....what about the people that have over 30 or 40 thousand posts...... Why are they still single??????? Just a question....... Well, I can only speak for my own situation, but since I have more than 10,000 posts, I'll try anyway.... For me, it's a couple of things -- I'm very selective, for one -- for another, all of my friends here are VERY far away -- never have been able to start up anything remotely resembling a "dialogue" with anyone closer than 897,000 miles away.... And I think it's left me with the idea (not just from this site, but on all of the other 11,909 I've been on, too) that on line doesn't work for some people, for whatever reason. I've just gone back to the mentality that if I'm going to meet someone, it will have to be "real life," and not on a dating site.... And maybe that's too exclusionary and narrowing, but I have simply found that there's no truly viable way for me to meet someone suitable on a dating site.... |
