Bring on the Games!!!!!

Basically you start a roster of NFL players that get points based on how their NFL weekend went.

Good leagues have about 12 teams/owners, so scouting talent comes into play and theres enough money to win to make it worth your while to do the scouting.

Normally Fantasy Leagues have teams that play each other. Each owner gets a Win/Loss based on how their team of NFL players did against the opponent's NFL players. Best Win/Loss record makes it into the playoffs where hopefully you win the Super Bowl.

Leagues I play in have an entry fee that gets allocated based on Weekly High Points & Play off position. Leagues that I normally enter range from $100 - $150 and it's not unusual to take home $500 - $750 a season

Your league #1 running game is monstrous but team #2 is way better because you have more big-game threats around the horn. If Johnson and Addai play to ability, you have a great shot of making some noise with those WRs and Shockey.

Last season in league #1; the last 4 weeks of the regular season and the 1st 2 rounds of the playoffs our WR's were smoking! They were all scoring TD's weekly and at least one of, Marshall, Colston or Jennings were getting 2TD's; we got 6 high point pots in a row (at $60 a week)...then in the Super Bowl our luck broke and our team had a flat week sad sad

I'm not sure if you've seen DeAngelo Williams running this preseason yet, but I'm thinking he's going to surprise quite a few people (People forget how highly he was rated coming out of college).

If you have a league where you can make trades...take a look at Kevin Smith ( the running back ) from the Lions.

He's gonna have a good year because the Lions are going to run the ball a lot more than they have the last couple of seasons.

He came up just a few yards short of breaking Barry Sanders' college rushing record, yet he is being almost completely ignored.

He might make for a good ( cheap ) pickup in a couple of weeks.

I get a skeptical of the teams that Mike Martz leaves, for some reason their offense seems to just sputter afterwords (look at the Rames)

You would be much further ahead to be skeptical of the teams he IS the coordinator for.

Everyone thought he was a " genious "....but he completely abandoned the running game as soon as the Lions were down by 7. The same will happen with the 49'ers now.

I honestly think the Lions offense is better now that it was in the two years he was here. They now have a running game and some decent O linemen to open holes. That will take a lot of pressure off the passing game.

Just keep an eye on Kevin Smith and, if he hasn't had at least one 100 yard game within 3 weeks, I'll be the first to admit to being wrong. :-)

You have some good players and I'm really impressed by some of your Depth, the only negative I see on your team is RB depth. Rudy Johnson got cut from the Bengals and is now the #2 on the Lions; although Williams should be a good #3 Backups of Jennings, Evans & Favre are pretty strong.

Nicki, check your FA list, there has to be a better WR available than the Giants Steve Smith.....
How the hell did you get Addai & Jackson?
