The absolute foolproof method of birth control is abstinence. And smoking doesn't effect this at all. Any other method is at best 99.9% effective. If it's at all hormonal...don't smoke. You're just asking for a heart attack. If you are not only wanting to prevent pregnancy, but also protect against disease....condoms are the way to go. The least fun method of them all, condoms will kill two birds with one stone.

For those women who absolutely cannot stand the taste of a condom.....you can get flavored ones now.

I had this former friend of mine get his girlfriend pregnant. He told me that he and she were using the rhythm method and that he was almost positive that he didn’t get her pregnant.

I said “well, you guys were counting the days up to and away from her ovulation period and she must have ovulated a little earlier than normal or a little later.”

He looked at me like I was from outer space and said “what are you talking about man?” “We used the rhythm method. You know? I would pull out of her just before I would cum.”

True story and he was being serious.

He was, is and always will be a dumb A$$..

Swallowing. Just don’t have a cigarette in your mouth when you try it. Otherwise smoking has no effect.

I had a hysterectomy at 35, I am now approaching 50, and it was the best thing I ever did! No more monthly reminders, no pain and zero affect on my sex drive. Actually, my libido increased because there was no possibility of pregnancy.

If you are in your forties and don't want children. (Anyone who has kids in the forties deserves a medal for courage and a trip the insane asylum I think) Do something permanent. Like I told the doctor. Take away the nursery and leave the playground!

Of course it would be irresponsible not to mention that condoms should be used to prevent STD's.
