We all have our past. At least here we can be fairly anonymous while opening up about the dorky things we liked as kids....This should clearly mark generation gaps among us.
I will start this ball rolling..... I Loved Linda Carter as "Wonder Woman" the tv series. Dungeons and Dragons rocked....(and I RULED!) I watched "The Land of the Lost" religiously....(those stupid Sleestaxx!!!!!) I wore my parachute pants waaaay to tight and all the bandanas are something that my current friends know nothing about....(let's keep it that way!) I had my hair like "Flock of Seagulls" for 3 years. Okay....I know damn well I am not the only one who really enjoyed stupid things as a kid....What are your happy dork memories..... CONFESS! |

I loooooooved Donny Osmond and I watched Johnny Quest all the time. I wore huge bellbottom pant's with gigantic hawiian flower's.

Now those are some dorky memories I can relate to Monkey! I just wonder....Why do the Osmonds look better now than they did 30 years ago?

How bout....Dukes of Hazzard, Buck Rogers, Bionic Woman, Milliondollar Man, Hulk, The orignal BatMan and Robin, Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons.....yeah, back when TV was cool! Bicycles with Banana seats, streamers in your spokes, playing outside till the street lights came on. Home cooked meals every night with the WHOLE family sitting around the table. Sitting on the front porch chatting with the neighbors. Long spiral curly hair, Def Leppard, Guns n Roses, AC/DC, MC Hammer, Oh man! Those were the days!! |

Watching Soul Train, loved Wonder Woman, Six Million Dollar Man/Woman,Fantasy Island, Love Boat, Charlies Angels,Quincy, D'ffrent Strokes,Fame, Some mother's do Av Em,Till Do Us Part, Man About The House, Robins nest. And who remembers the old Batman series? Same bat time, same bat channel !

Pinching golf balls off the golf course, and selling them back to the owners after they 'had a few'  in the golf club... Skin tight batik LOUD pants in the late 70's...   none of it embarrassing... way too much fun. |
