I have cancelled my profile. BUT...When you google my screename, it comes up with page after page of your sister sites with my name on them. I NEVER asked to be on any of these and would like them cleared of this screename.

I have never used this screen name anywhere but here...and the third google entry is this......in connection with my screen name.

it's prolly someone who happens to have the same screen name The tidbit on the entry says "Palin flips the bird" which was a forum thread in here at one time. Definitely going to be something that needs checking into. |

I think we wait for someone to explain it to us..hopefully there is a good explanation. I found just the one on mine and one on many others that I "tested" to see what the pattern is. Mine is def. connected to my own user id because it references a thread I posted in. I really don't want my user ID attached to smut though!

I googled somebody on here and clicked on the Mingle2 link.
It led me to the page with all of their posts. Yikes! Did it again and I got their profile. |

I got something more than I bargained for with mine!! I took a screen shot.....will see what the site admins have to say.
That brings up a good question ....are the forums public? If your not signed in I wonder what it brings you too. Hopefully just a sign in page. I would imagine that's what it does. |

all the pages you posted on and all the pages of your profile have to be online for you to beable to see it. Thing is that EVERYONE can see it too. That is why we don't post pictures of kids and stuff that you'd be embarassed if everyone knew

I do know I did not sign up for any other site like is linked to my user ID. I'm not being paranoid about it, but will wait for an explanation on the nakey page.....lol. |

yeah I think everyone has a "posts by user" page
and it's under my screen name so when the google spiders go looking for it they would find that page. |

Yes Winx and if you google enough user id's here you will see some are attached to some unsavory sites as well..hehe. That's the part I was surprised at. We leave a trail anytime we post anywhere.
