I see from reading the various candidates speeches the last few days that the definition of "rich" is rapidly changing. Obama in a speech Monday referred to rich as $200K instead of the $250K that he has been using, then on Tues, Biden referred to $150K as rich. By the time he takes action on his tax plan, provided he is elected, where will it be???? I'm betting it will be down around $20 - $25K for a tax increase. Any body wanna take a guess where it will end up by the time it is legislated? I have seen lots of tax increases targeted at the "rich" hit the rest of us right in the pocketbook.

I read the other day somewhere a comparison of the corporate tax rates of various countries, and the US led them all, yup, we were # 1 again. We also bleed more jobs out of country than any other country. I wonder whyrant Just raise the taxes some more and see where the jobs go.........I hear this great sucking sound from overseas....lol

exactly...as much as it may hurt some people to hear this...business is about profit...when you cut into their bottom line...you send them offshore...where the enviorment...is more business friendly...

Send them off shore then they are ungreatfull. Our tax dollars have built the roads that carry the goods. We fund the navy that keeps the sea lanes safe and we fund the education that ensures a trainable work force. We fund the police that protect them and the laws that protect their property. In return they have managed to get their taxes cut under the republicans and wreck the economy and then get a half trillion bail out again, from tax payer money, better they leave under their own free will than prodded out with the end of a pitchfork:wink:

Obama plans on eliminating the capital gains taxes for small businesses and cut corporate taxes for firms that invest and create jobs in the United States.

Any thoughts from you anti-tax geniuses how we're going to pay our $10.5T debt, or should we just continue Dubya's "No tax and spend anyway?"

Get your facts straight.

No matter how many times Obama states it, you don't seem to hear?

95% of all Americans will receive a TAX CUT.

If you make less than $250,000, you will PAY LESS TAXES.

I say we sell Hawaii to Japan and Alaska to Russia. I wonder what Mexico would pay for Texas?

You can spout that till' you are blue in the face. Just like NObama has been. Simple FACT is NObama is lying. He would raise your taxes in a NY minute as he would mine. I'm well under his $250k number but not far at all under the $150k number his stupid running mate slipped and let out.

A flat or "fair" tax is the answer along with MASSIVE cuts in government spending. Think NObama will cut government spending (other that gutting the armed forces after surrendering to the terrorists in the middle east)? NO HE WILL NOT. He wants bigger government. He has announced 4 TRILLION$ in spending...NEW spending ffs. That money is not all coming from our wealthiest 5%. It's coming from you and me so he can give those who don't even pay taxes a tax "credit"(read welfare handout).

yep a federal sales tax eliminate all other taxes

then you will have a fair tax system

if ya spend it yer taxed

the more ya make the more ya spend

it ain't rocket science

flat 12% sounds fair

and no corporate tax till they reach 5 million profit per 1/4

This is an assumption given by the Obama propoganda machine.

There will be a tax increase on everyone. 10 to 15% when this bailout actually goes through the system.

And at least 2% a year after that....

This is a universal tax.

BTW

Increasing taxes on CEO's is actually quite clever. They will raise the product cost to make up the difference, and PRESTO.... you have successfully double taxed...

I really don't think raising the cost of having a business here in the states is a good way to get businesses here in the states....

Simple FACT is NObama is lying.

The lies aren't working... and I mean yours.

Yes well it's what the REPS have been saying... according to DEMS, the rich are the middle class...

The media always reports things wrong... they say this bailout will help the middle class... it's all a redistribution scheme...that's all.. none of it will help the middle class... according to OBAMA...that 250 thou keeps dropping every day as the election gets closer.

...but there are those who just don't want to see the writing on the wall. OBAMA Lies Lies Lies...
