I will put my money on it that you have been around someone who has smoked and not even known it. People in your everyday life that smoke but you never even suspected. Think about it! In your own lifes.

Too true.

I know people who get high whom you would never suspect.

My grandmother used to tell us about the men on the farm when she was a girl who would go out back after dinner to "smoke some rope" as she put it. She thought it was silly when they made pot illegal.

There are so many more important places to use law enforcement resources continuing the war on drugs is just plain silly.

Thier really is much to be learned about what we are told to believe now and making Hemp illegal

I am sure we have all seen the propaganda campiegns that went on and movies about the dangers of pot.

How people become crazed when smoking it.

All a lie. Media used to sway public opinion.

It is worse now than back then by far

The only bad thing is nowadays they lace it with bad stuff.Back in the day you got good grass.Thats why I quit 20 yrs ago. That and the ugly mofo I woke up next too.If legalized it would really power agriculture and I believe hemp is used for many other things also.

I think alcohol has lead to more mornings of "OMFG what did I do" than pot ever could.

I actually saw some research on the whole beer goggle concept.

Beer, helping get ugly people laid for hundreds of years!

Our staff used to get high in the smokers lounge before counseling the kids on the dangers of doing drugs. No lie.

A former friend of mine had a DARE sticker in her window and she was a drug dealer.

Absolutely. There is a vast amount of stoners in this world. If they legalize it, they tax it. If they tax it the economy benefits right? There are way too many smokers out there for it not to seem like a good plan but I'm open to hearing the flaws in my idea..

Winx what is the numbers compared to alchol. Look at what we already spend there. Winxflowerforyou Most alcholics by the time they become one that wants help he or she has lost all his insurance. The long wait sometimes impossiable task of getting into a public funded one proves that. It comes down to,do we pay now or later.

Never. Would be too many weed puffing drivers.....

We actually already have a breathalyzer that can detect it well enough. The trouble is knowing if the person has smoke recently, and inconclusive testing for levels of intoxication.

The fact that some people can smoke large amounts and very quickly be back in normal operation after less then a few hours while others shouldn't even walk no less drive after one hit makes it challenging to make a system like we have for alcohol, but wouldn't be impossible. At the end of the day you always have field sobriety tests.

But we have been studying alcohol rigorously for a long time, only the last 20 years have we studied marijuana with any rigor, and still not as much, but then again what does that tell you . . . we study big problems.
