Yes and No. I think it's possible..because I'm a pretty ambivalent person, but I could be wrong about that.

Yes. I'm very reluctant to be vulnerable to someone.... usually deflecting with humor. And most will never see the complete idiot that I really am. And most are probably thankful for that.

No. I am much too open. I don't have skeletons in my closet so I tell everything. I wait on people all day so I am easy to talk to. Guys can just come to the place I wait tables and ...ta da...I have to talk to them....at least enough to take their order.

All depends on my mood and the person I'm conversing with. I can be very surface oriented with idle life details and such, but my innermost thoughts and feelings? Not so much. I've never been considered an open book. However, if I'm comfortable and I'm equally intrigued...I'll share a few chapters here and there over quality time.
