This made my so sad and grossed out, yet it was sort of funny in an obscure way.sick sick sick She was being interviewed at a turkey farm where there are turkeys being beheaded in the background, and she seemed oblivious, yet not!!!

Thinking of ham now!!!! Just don't want to see how any of that is done!!!

Your post reminded me of a story of my oldest sister, back in the day when she was still an only child. While visiting family at a mealtime, Mom gave her a glass of milk. My sister knew the cow had been milked to provide that glass of milk. She told Mom she didn't want that kind, she wanted the kind that came from the grocery store.

Funny how removed we are from the whole process.

flowerforyou Your missing the point.:smile:Its funny because she just pardoned a turkey. And its probably the worst backdrop of an interview ever:smile:I grew up with lotsa critters.:smile:Momma used to break the chickens necks with her bare hands :smile:Nothing wrong with cleaning them for consumption(its gotta be done) but its probably not what you want for a backdrop for an interview.

flowerforyou When I was a kid we had lotsa chickens out in the yard and momma would walk right out there and grab them up one handed and snap their necks.:smile:Its not a big deal.flowerforyouAnyone that likes to eat(which is most of us) understands this process.:smile:I don't believe in being cruel to animals, but I gotta enough sense to know where the meat comes from.laugh

I find it strange that she thinks that her son is "safe" in Iraq.

i think she reiterated to that (something like) well as safe as can be -- but i am to lazy to rewatch it

and hey he probably is

you think he is going house to house

after all he was the vp candidates and gov son

but this is total speculation

but he probably is as safe as can be and still be in iraq

Yes, she did to that.

if you watched the interview you could clesrly see she was being interviewed by someone else who had a diff camera angle and it didnt show the turkey gettng slaughtered
leave it to msnbc to show that
