Yeah, they were just trying to get him back for what happened a while ago. Anyone else that would have done this would have received no more than 5 years, or even parole. They just really needed to get him. Otherwise the Goldman family would have never been there. He really should have laid low. He is such a dumb ass, lol. They will definitely be having O.J. for breakfast in what ever prison he goes to.

They also gave his co defendant the same 15 years. That seems to run counter to your argument.

lets see he filed a theft report for the articles and law enforcement done nothing

i think there should be some accessory charges handed out to those that ignored the call

what he did was wrong but if those he reported the theft to would have done their job it would have never happened

Maybe, but that's irrelevant. Two wrongs don't.....you know the saying.

He could have received a lot more so still he was lucky.

he was found not guilty of the murders

and if the law enforcement agency would have done their job there would not have been a robbery

not lucky a victim of a warped society that refuses to apply their rules evenly

Not only that, but this is NEVADA we're talking about and NOT Los Angeles. They don't mess around with crimes of various nature in Nevada- they're particularly tough on "violent" crimes, as was the case with O.J. and the memorabilia theft. In fact, the judge presiding over the case is known for being quite severe on criminals if found guilty.

The judge was also the first one to order the jury NOT to allow what happened in the murders fifteen years ago to have any bearing on the robbery trial.

Also- keep in mind that O.J.'s "possessions" in questions were technically awarded to the Goldman/Brown families after the wrongful death trial some time after the murders. So the stuff in question wasn't even O.J.'s to begin with. So -in essence- the Goldman family HAD to be there, as those items are technically theirs, anyway.
