I feel great at 68! Depends on what you mean by "mellow". I feel that I've gotten better with age, like a fine wine. I'm certainly wiser, in great health, and still going strong.
Problem is, finding a man who can keep up!

I am pretty mellow this morning. I had my day in court. The court made $125.00 from me. The traffic officer was right they did drop the 'no proof' of insurance once I showed I had proof of insurance. But the judge told me it could not be dismissed since I couldn't find it in my glove box when the cop stopped me hence the $30.00 I had to pay. And the $95.00 charge to stop at the stop sign I pleaded no contest since the cop told I did not stop completely. I braked at the stop sign but not long enough for him. But the judge told me that I could take a defensive driver's class which only cost me an additional $35.00 if I wanted the no stop to be removed. The clerk told me it was up to me if I wanted to go. We got the best law that money can buy. It made me mellow to get away.

Rolling stop, I feel your pain. I actually was told by an officer that he was allowed to a rolling stop in the course of his duties, and I wasn't. The judge asked if he had actually said this, then dismissed my rolling stop, to make a point with the officer. I got lucky.

I feel each and every one of my fifty-six years each and every morning, but I wouldn't give up one of them for anything.

I to fear Im turning into my dad but that has its high points. He passed away at 86 and just before his 84 birthday punched out a 75 year old guy for smarting off at him..So I guess I may be more mellow than he was already..

choclablover, I should have talked to the judge like the guy before me. He was driving twenty miles over the limit and the judge reduced his ticket because he said Walmart's over inflated his tires which caused his car to go faster. You may not believe this but the judge's first name is Judy. Judge Judy not our little town but the one on tv came on today and I thought there might be something better to watch. When I got to court this morning every guy who came this old cop told them to take their hats off. Sure enough one of the ladies behind me had one on but the cop said it was okay to keep hers on. The old cop who is 76 years old said to all of us there before she came in that whatever we do don't piss her off.laugh
