all i am saying is that sometimes in our younger ages, we get the idea that we can control a our spouse or significant other. let me tell you that this is not true. reason why is becuase were all really dealing with a spiritual being having a physical experiance. therefore, how can we control, truley, a spiritual creature made by god. if nothing else, women for example, will proove us wrong concerning any wearing of the pants. sometimes i feel that trust, or the lack of it, is what causes us to want to secure or as it were, control our significant other. in other words we do not want them cheating on us. but let me assure you folks that nothing can be done to prevent that and also that cheating rests with the individual rather than the boyfriend or girlfriend. please be openminded and positive in your responses.

Okay, every relationship has the alpha position, generally referred to as a male, but not always the case of course of course.....personally I think the guy should wear the pants, within respectable boundaries of course most things should be equal, but my wonderful traditional values are sometimes difficult to explain, cuz they aren't really that traditional, or maybe they are, pppllddd men wear the pants, women wearing pants just makes things a little too tricky

men and women were created differently, in order, to have a symbiotic relationship. The stage of development of practicing relationship habits begins in the youth. Learning lessons as you described above is just that a lesson. When you finish all your epiphanies and learn how you wish your relationships formed, you learn cohabitation without control in order to remain happy symbiotically.

I was going to go along with free will and sense of true purpose in life. Dictating control is never splendid. For one has to be able to take care of themselves before they can truly take care of anyone else.

I believe evreyone should take care of themselves and the rest will follow.

People are afraid of being hurt. Fear leads to a need to control the situation. You have to get past your fears if you want to be in a truly loving relationship that doesn't control either party.
