That's not self esteem that's vanity. Self esteem is knowing you have flaws and seeing yourself as a "good" whole person in spite of them. It's knowing your self worth in spite of your circumstances and others opinions. It's seeing yourself perfectly imperfect.

Yeah, I think it can be harmful to wrap your self esteem up in your looks. How good a person looks is a matter of opinion, and that opinion can be too easily changed. You want something else to help you feel good about yourself when you are having a bad hair day.

On the flip side though, I am guilty of putting extra effort into my looks as pick me up when I'm feeling a little down.

looks fade? hahahahaha...apparently you guys haven't met my family. Got lucky with the gentics...my Dad is an absolute pimp! Sure there is more to a person than looks...but, if you ain't a wretched dog...no sense in not being contentedly proud. At least when my looks go, I will be able to fall back on being vain about the size of my johnson. muahahahahaha

yes, because looks have nothing to do with who you are,
what you are, or what you can become

be remarkable and become beautiful

Screw all that....I will be happy about my personality and sense of humor AFTER my body takes a dive.

(I am smart, funny, good natured and shy... so I have reserves) Until then, I will rely on looks, Money, penis size and Rohypnol.
