I think anyone who is going to be alone today should come to my house. We have a TON of food and would be a great way to meet all my mingle friends!
turkey ham stuffing (2 kinds) potatoes salad corn green beans beets cranberry sauce grands biscuits lots and lots of desserts!! |

I'm alone for most of the day, but it's by choice because I could go to my brother's house and spend it with his spastic kids and slieghtly stuck up wife(bless their hearts) but I'd rather just enjoy my time off, relax and take a breather. I'll go over there for a bit later on after things settle down.

Yes I'm going to be home alone for Christmas. Couldn't be happier about it.
I hate family holidays. I think it's because I'm damn near 40 and I have no family to bring. It's about as depressing as it comes, spending time with family around the end of December. Then I get to spend New Years alone as well, isn't that grand. Of course that's nothing new, I've spent every New Year alone, so I should be able to handle that. I just wish every other person on this planet would stop reminding me that I'm spending the holiday by myself. I mean it's not exactly a bad thing. It's quiet, I don't have to clean up any wrapping paper, no extra dishes to do, I didn't have to wake at 4 AM just to put a turkey in the oven. I don't know why I hadn't spent Christmas alone before. Maybe I'll make it my new holiday tradition!! |

People are ignorant and find pleasure in asking you what you're doing and you know what? Tell them that you're flying to Paris or..or..it's going to be a good time. No need to elaborate. I see them always and they want to hear something because they have nothing interesting going on in their lives and misery loves company. You won't give them company. Love comes your way,

Maybe next year Tahiti would be a lovely place to spend Christmas, hmm maybe I won't come back!!!
