I really burned myself out trying to be ALL for too many people. I was so busy filling others' egos and "love tanks", but wasnt' getting a return. So, I've still got to work on it sometimes, but I'm much more picky now on who gets my efforts.
I'm lonely, too. You may think I'm nuts but I turned down a dinner offer as I've been kind of down and introspective lately and I knew I'd be having to try to be all perky and peppy for the guy who wanted to go out, and I haven't met him yet, then I found out it is his birthday. He's kind of upset with me about it, but I thought, lonely as I am, I want to take care of myself and not be "the entertainer" and "the listener" tonight. I want a peaceful night.
