tell me WHY it's a bad idea, kim? how would my child be affected by
someone looking at their picture? my children will NEVER have contact
with these people...

really, i keep a blade beside my computer...you know...for when people
start coming through the screen.

You just gave me an idea. If someone comes through my computer, but I
have another computer right in front of that one, and they go right into
the second computer, will they be caught in an eternal loop? Or will
they just mess up my monitor?

well, you know...starman DID say he was going to...

maybe *i* like looking at their pics when i access my profile. maybe i
think the whole world should see just how gorgeous my kids are...my baby
is *very* photogenic...and i pass her pics on to everyone i see.

it's just a picture, kim...i am very particular of the people that get
to meet my children...and not many pass my test.

lol, i'm beyond picky. i wouldn't even let my kid's father hold her
without taking a shower if he had been to his sister's house...since she
smokes.

... wanted to mention most sites will not let you put childrens pics up
even when an adult is in the pic.

As I said it is one of the "minor" issues, having a creepo looking at
your children.

It doesn't make anyone a "bad parent", it is just another reality of
life, in cyber.

Glad you made that point. Your right it doesnt make anyone a bad parent.

Like Lulu i am very picky and careful about who meets my kids.

I think if the parent is responsible... having thier kids in the pics
with them is ok...

It's the ones that show almost, and in some cases the only, photo up. I
find it disturbing.

I don't care if I don't know who's whacking off to my kids. I know it
happens, and I find it disgusting.

No, most don't choose to go after via internet when they are closer to
them nearby, but they still DO. And, because the percentage is down in
comparison is an excuse?

ok, so, let's say the chnaces of anything happening are 1 in 1000 kids.

how many children are there?

I love showing of my babies to those I know. But, to just do it without
thought?

I've seen a few that are just a childs pic on a profile when going into
thread...

Just not ok, sorry.

I come to talk to adults. I can talk to kids any day.

street with them."

I have to agree with Whisper on this one. How is it any different than
taking them out in public?

I mean, excuse me, but why do people insist on viewing the Internet
differently then any other part of life?

To me, that’s just totally absurd.

I mean, if this were a porn site that’d be different. There are also
places were you shouldn’t take your kids in real life too! But this
isn’t a porn site, it’s just a clean wholesome family site when Jax
isn’t posting (ha ha).

Just kidding Jax!

I see absolutely nothing wrong with posting pictures of any member of
your family. People who want to claim that a pedophile or someone could
see them, well guess what? A pedophile or someone like that can see
them when you are out shopping or in a restaurant too!

Where to you think sick criminals hang out when they aren’t browsing the
Internet?

Yep! They’re right out there eating in the next booth over at the
restaurant!

The Internet isn’t any differnet from real life. It’s the SAME PEOPLE!

So unless you’re going to suggest that people hide their kids when they
go out in public I just don’t see the point.

To me the Internet isn't any different than the real world. It's the
same people!

Well James, it is on many dating sites no pics of children in any
form........

so..........you tell me?

Ps honestly, I don't really care one way or another what folks do with
pics.....of their kids .......

huh

I could see a dating site restricting them.

After all, people are sue happy. Keeping pictures of minors off their
web site is just legally safer for the site.

That's just purely a matter of legal tip-toeing.

There are a lot of very sick people that like doing things to animals
does that mean people should not post a picture of there pets as well?
This argument could go on forever, I agree with Lex,Lulu,Abra and all
the rest. There is no difference what so ever. It is all up to the
parent on what type of people they meet, how they screen them and how
soon they introduce them to there child.
