8 years in the Navy so seeing this carrier commissioned means something. I tell it like it is and Im sure Obama will be getting an earful too. To me our government has failed the people my whole life. Will Obama change that? I doubt it but I will give him a chance. No one can change it all but if he can change some I will give him the benefit of the doubt. I did the same with GWB but he lost the last of mt respect when he stood in front of the American people and finally admitted what we all already knew. Then begged for a bailout. If he would have came forward when it was all happening I might have felt different!!!!!!! But you cant deny the truth..

I have to wonder what business a debtor nation has building an aircraft carrier? My union the international brotherhood of boilermakers, Iron ship builders blacksmiths forgers and helpers had a large part in its construction I cant help but wonder if the money could have been better spent on somethig else.
