A Lovely Reject

As my head rest slumbered, she came and opened my eyes.
I thought it was all a dream as she lay by my side.
Caressing the love within her; she'd held me so tight.
I could not help but kiss her. Within her I fell blind.
As she lay beside me and I smothered her with care,
I wondered "In the future; will she even be there"
As we lay together and I brush back a locke of her hair,
"Will you be with me" I asked her. No reply was given air.

I'm not thinking about rejection. I'm thinking about the next woman in my life saying, "No, the pool table can't be in the center of the house". Of course, by the time that happens, I'm quite sure there will be more things to clash over. laugh laugh laugh

absolutely,My last boyfriend was an incredibly sexy male exotic dancer,I dumped him because I couldent get past the fear that a hotter girl would steal him from me,I guess you could consider that a form of rejection

I don't know that I've ever denied
feelings for someone out of fear of
rejection. Sometimes, it just means
a slower, more cautious approach.

... And then sometimes, I've marched
right up and faced rejection.

*shrug*
Oh well, tomorrow is a new day.

Yes, most definetly. But it is my own stupid fault for feeling like that to begin with. Confidence level sometimes not high enough... smitten

No way would I ever let fear stop me from entering a relationship. I would rather have a chance at love than not at all.
