If you charge him with a crime you have to charge all members of congress that voted on legislation that is deemed illegal. The bailouts are illegal so there goes Obama too......

Red Cross finds Bush administration guilty of war crimes

In a secret report last year, the Red Cross found evidence of the CIA using torture on prisoners that would make the Bush administration guilty of war crimes, The New York Times reported Friday.

The Red Cross determined the culpability of the Bush administration after interviewing prisoners at Guantanamo Bay, according to the article.

Prisoner Abu Zubaydahwho said he had been waterboarded, "slammed against the walls" and confined in boxes "so small he said he had to double up his limbs in the fetal position."

The information comes from a new book written by Jane Meyer, who has frequently published articles concerning counter-terrorism in The New Yorker.

The book is titled "The Dark Side: The Inside Story of How the War on Terror Turned Into a War on American Ideals," and will be released next week.

Mayer cited "sources familiar with the report" to explain the confidential

without offending others and getting deleted may i say that personally i know he has done a great job after 9/11 and that freedom comes at a price that few are willing to pay but plenty complain about.

as for OUR new president i wish him the best although he swore in on the koran and turned his back on the American flag(watch the video)fact now that gitmo is gonna be closed who'll be the next to occupy it. i think probably some of his islamic cousins

Should President Bush be charged with the violations he is guilty of?

No - but we could give him another option. Hog tie him to a bag of stones, drop him into into a polluted river and see if he sinks or floats.

If he sinks - we could agree to save him but only if he forgoes the right to government funded benefits, including protection of any kind for the rest of his "saved" life.....

Oh - and he doesn't agree to this, then charge him but only if the trial is a speedy one, no hold ups and no recesses, just the 'briefs'.

there is news about it though
it's not headline news, but i've been hearing bits and pieces about it
the bush administration has admitted to allowing torture tactics in guantanamo
they've all been extremely hush hush about it all too

now i realize it may not JUST be the pres but to sweep it all under the rug seems um American doesn't it?
what gives them the right to do what no one else can do? does the constitution only apply to non governmental officials?

There are many articles about it.

the point is with the paasage of the patriot act many of hte issues on the block are not illegal under u s law now so to go after bush will not fly unless you go after everyone that passed the laws to make it legal (not speaking of the international infractions but of the spying on americans, and the grabbing and detaining without charges of suspected terrorist on u s soil and the like) whether the international ccharges are made is yet to be seen (i would say a few smaller countries may bring charges but they will not develop into action.

He's not my savior. Why do you hate him so?

How on earth am I spitting in all American's faces?slaphead

You said he swore in on the Koran. You don't even know the facts.
