Okay so my pizza place closes at 3:00am. I am the owner and I decided to cut deliveries off early at 2:50, but they can still order for take out.

The guy calls up at 2:50 and b1tches about how it's false advertising that I won't take his delivery order at 2:50.

He says "That's messed up. I'm never going to order from you guys again and I'm going to tell all my friends not to order from you either after I told them all these good things about you guys"


I say, "okay..."


He was dumbfounded. lol. Nothing really much to say after that.

I didn't really mean it, but there wasn't any way I was going to stay up to 3:45 catering to one person.

So he is really mad because he doesn't want to get off his butt and come get the pizza... rather make some poor guy drive out to him at 3am to feed him?

Think i would of said more to him then okay.. but probley why i'm not in that line of work.

Man, being self-employed I can see the need to expand my customer base. On the other hand, I can see closing a bar down and wanting that pizza as badly as I desire to breathe..lol.

Tough call, I think my opinion shall remain on the fence with this one...lol.

I told him he could pick it up...


he said "but I don't have a car"


I was thinking:

A. Save your money towards the purchase of a car.
B. Better Luck next time
C. He works at Chanello's pizza...as a delivery driver lol

I personally don't believe the customer is always right.

I would figure some guy who is being a jerk is never going to be pleased so you are spinning your wheels trying to accomodate something you can't turn your direction anyway. His "friends" probably know he is a jerk and won't take it as that important if he is sober enough to remember it the next day or not.

Take that one last customer is a good way to get yourself robbed.

I would take the phone off the hook the last 15-30 minutes then it wouldn't be and issue.

That's the beauty of owning your own business...you have the right to refuse service...BUT...it's called the service industry for a reason. The customer is not always right...but in the end...it's the customer who's paying the bills...

Hmmm. What an arse. If I saw a place closed at 3am, I would not assume that I could ask for anything at 2:50am.

I once went to a 7-11 at 3:30AM and this guy with an accent was locking the doors. I said hey are you open 24 hours and he goes yeah, but not in a row.

Friday night is pizza night at my house, the place I get it from has the best around
