I'm glad football is on, because there is nothing much else on and I can't watch the news right now ... Something about the news you don't want to see? hmm..how to say it without causing offense...I can appreciate the historic impact of this election...but the worshipfest is just way over the top. The man will have a very hard time meeting the huge expectations he has built up in people. I remember when inauguarals were one day events. All the Lincoln comparisons are wearing on me. I do have to agree! I am tired of this already. Why spend this amount of money on this when people are loosing their jobs and homes. To me this is a sad day! |

The reason I said this, we just had a major Virginia based company go belly up. There are going to be thousands without jobs...I cry everytime I see the foreclosure signs. Is this really happening? Where are all these families going?

I agree that the news about the economy is very scary and depressing. Unfortunately, I don't think we have seen the lowest point yet, which makes me feel even worse. Hopefully we will be able to vent to each other and survive it all.

I just don't understand the spending of all this money on a the ignuration(sorry bad spelling), when it can be spent to help the people, not to put on a big show.
