i personally HATE being called cute, hot, "smokin" ... that's all ridiculous to me. i like being called beautiful or something of that nature.

and guys, can you explain the difference between all these different adjectives from the MALE point of view, and why some are never used?


cute, sexy, gorgeous, hot, smokin, pretty, beautiful... etc

I don't mind being called cute...just not "kinda cute" I can't stand being called hot, sexy, eye candy, easy on the eyes, or better than a set of mud tires

I like beautiful, cute, or gorgeous.

Howbout just simply attractive? That is what I usually use to describe women.

A Compliment

I like attractive.. Good choice. It's classy, not over-used, and girls and guys alike can use it.

so when you look at a girl and wanting to give her a compliment you say "wow you're so attractive!"

? lol just sounds weird.

i hate being called "hot"..hot is something that doesnt last and it feels tasteless. its hard to put into words wat im trying to say bc im stoned..but girlll i feel you..guys wake up! learn how to talk to a women.

How about just accepting a compliment if it is intended as such????

Be grateful, as long as they are respectful, that someone thinks enough of you to notice.

they are all compliments but they are different kinds of compliments. when a guy tells her she's "smokin" or "sexy" ... he's thinking about ass. when he calls her "beautiful" or something like that, he's thinking about her actual physical looks and personality.

or that's just what i've perceived.

I take it as what they have for repetoir for vocabulary.

Well, if you're putting "Wow!" with it, may as well jump on over to using gorgeous, again, gender friendly..
