I've been on M2 for less than a month and I have already had the opportunity to meet several people - if I choose to. I've only met one so far... and the jury is still out on that one... we'll see how it goes?

it works great and i was really suprised to find such attractive women on here too. If anything its hard to keep up with all the people i have met so far. Some very nice people on here too. It does suck that some of the people you wish they where closer cause everything is clickin except distance. Try harder on your pics and your profile that should help

I must tell you that I have been online everyday since I signed up. I check my messages, matches, and I spend an hour or more each time checking out the forums... and posting on occasion.

The forums is where most of the people I've talked to have noticed me first.... So there is proof in advertising, so-to-speak.

It should be noted that this place has become more of a "myspace for older person-types" than an actual dating website since it changed from "justsayhi".

The people that are attracted to me, that I have developed correspondence with, or met in person, contacted me because my profile was what clicked with them.
Not one of them ever posted in the forums, as far as I know.
There are a lot of profile views by people who post in the forums, but they don't write to me, with one or two exceptions.

That one's easy, Judy. When people join this site, 99% of them do not see the "friendship" or "socialization" part of it. The only thing in their field of view is the word "DATING", which, for some reason, leads most people into believing that this is some sort of Boyfriend/Girlfriend Store. They think all they have to do is show up, and the person of their dreams will fall into their lap. They have no intention of friendship or socialization, they only want somebody they can drag home with them.

I am a lucky and happy guy.I am not on m2 for a date.I am just looking for friends and friendship.Why i am happy and lucky?Well i live now toghetter for seven years with a woman who is twenthy two years younger than i am.And now she wants to married me next year.like i sayd,i am here to make new friends and to pump up my english,becouse i write to many faults in my letters.I had never an education in the english language.I learn it from the television.Mostly from national geographic channel.Becouse here in Belgium is every program on tele undertitled.So i listning to what is saying on the program and look to the undertitled's.Ofcours,listning and reading is very different than writing.

This site has worked well for me. Though I have not met my soul mate, I have met a lot of new friends. I am not giving up on my soul mate, just taking it as it comes. He will come in time.
