In getting ready for the voice recital yesterday I couldn't decide what to wear. I'm tired of always wearing black for concerts. Yesterday I didn't have to be in black so I was looking for something different. I found this dress that I hadn't worn in probably 5 yrs or more. I tried it on and it actually fit. I couldn't believe all the compliments I got after the recital. It was amazing. I felt like a new person. Woohoo:banana:  Yippee:banana:  bigsmile

Its nice to see someone who is excited about transforming their body. I have recently decided to do the same.

I mean I've really decided to make it a life long change of eating right and staying (getting) fit. I found a way to guarantee that.

Its back to the old fashioned way. Stay under a certain amount of calories every day, and eat lots of fiber and protein and lower fat and lower carbs.

Also exercise. I am setting up a weight training routine, walking, and doing the five rites and some yoga.

I started 15 days ago and I have lost 5 pounds. My goal is 2 pounds per week.

I'm feeling great and my energy is increasing. It is amazing what loosing just five pounds feels like.

Its great.

Oh yeh I eat lots of protein. I have two books with lots of information. Tom Venuto's "Burn the fat, feed the muscle." (He is a body builder.) And his new book I bought on Amazon.com called "The Body fat solution." Its really great.

I've also ordered a book with lots of free weight exercises. I am starting out real slow and gentle. I have week knees and everyone wants you to do those darn squats and lunges. eek!

I even ordered that p90X extreme home fitness routine, but it is too advanced for me right now. I will do that later.

This stuff seems to have helped keep my sweet tooth in control. As for the coffee it's actually a diuretic. Do u use skim milk? Coffee isn't really that bad compared to donuts, candy, etc. Just drink water too to stay hydrated.

Manno, I'll keep the curves just for u.
